Free42 HP-42S Calculator Simulator is an open source program whose objective is to simulate this mythical scientific calculator, introduced by Hewlett Packard in 1988. As such, it will allow us to carry out all the mathematical operations we want, with absolute comfort.
The program comes with two different versions of the calculator: binary and decimal. In addition, we will also find two different skins at our disposal: the realistic one and the standard one. Another interesting option is that, like the original calculator itself, this version will allow us to 'print' our results. But of course, instead of printing them, we can export them in GIF or text format.
Free42 HP-42S Calculator Simulator is a perfectly valid scientific calculator, thanks to which we will not only be able to carry out any mathematical operation we can think of, but also do it in an 'old school' style.
